Errors in nursing practices: What are the attitudes of nurses toward medical errors?

This study aims to determine the attitudes of nurses towards medical errors and related factors. The was designed as a descriptive cross-sectional study. A total 119 completed questionnaire on personal information Medical Errors Attitude Scale. It determined that nurses’ were positive. found awareness reporting high. error perception with less years work experience in unit be more negative. Many are actually caused by preventable conditions. At this point, best way prevent is create an institutional culture based patient safety. Within scope quality control studies health institutions, development safety should supported.
